Based in New York 1stdibs is a favourite of many designers and interior decorators.
Customers from all over the world shop on 1stdibs, looking for fine furniture, art and other home accessories.
And on top of that we have entered the world of social media through Twitter and Facebook.

Living room pieces consist of parlor suites, ladies and gentlemens sitting chairs and a variety of tables. Later period pieces consist of sofas, the occasional wing back chair, needlepoint foor stools and unusual side tables or sewing tables. Again, barleytwist and Queen Anne designs are commonly found and the woods are mostly oak and mahogany. Once in a while we also carry unusual fireplace item, like coal hods, fire screens and other assorted fire place items.
